Da Flu

I just got back from my doctor's office about an hour ago. I had a fever of a 103 (was 104 at one point, I guess I don't play around when I get hot!) and the flu, type A. Whatever the fuck type A means.

So I'm all drugged up on Tamiflu and Sudafed, drinking lots of propel water, and going to sleep all day long. I was all sorts of heated at CVS this afternoon. My health insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts only covers part of Tamiflu, so I was stuck paying $75 out of pocket! And when I called to see why it wasn't $5, $20, or $30 like its suppose to be the voice mail said "We're sorry, due to the in climate weather our office is closed". You bastards, thanks!

I called my doctor and told her about the preferred drug BCBC recommended through the computer the pharmacist was using. She was all heated "The drug won't do anything for you! These insurance companies have their head up their ass! I'll write you a letter to include in your reimbursement claim".

You better believe they're getting a nasty letter from me. This is crap. I guess I should count myself lucky that I'm not one of the 48+ million Americans without health insurance.

I think I'm going to watch some episodes of Six Feet Under . . . I miss that show and I have nothing to do right now.

Oh so yeah, I have a job interview on Monday. I think I mentioned it in my post last night. I'm pretty excited for it. It seems like a very good position, one well suited for my future career pursuits. Benefits and salary are good to. I'm looking forward to learning more about the place and seeing if they're a good fit for me. Wish me luck and cross your fingers!

And I will not be sick on Monday! lol
