I'm sad to announce that my love affair with Ambien is over. I was reading the little print out that comes with the prescription and it said something to the effect of "may cause depression" listed as one of the side effects. Um, I don't need that shit!
So, I'm pretty self aware and noticed myself getting into the dumps in the evening and being really negative etc. And when I thought back, these were days after I had taken Ambien to help me sleep. I haven't taken it in over a week and a half and ta da! Those "demons" haven't been present. So I think it was responsible.
And now you know why I'm typing this at 1am!
