FINALLY!! An improvement in fuel economy in American automobiles and a positive step forward toward a cleaner environment and improved national security.The Obama administration will announce tomorrow new national fuel economy standards for American automobiles. By 2016, the average car and light truck will get about 35 miles to a gallon. The average car gets 27.5 mpg and trucks 24mpg.
A huge victory for President Obama and those who support a greener way of life.
