Second Class Citizens

America took a huge step forward on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 and elected the first black man as President of the United States. And by the next morning, it was official...we had taken a huge step backward on equality too. Does everyone remember separate but equal?

Still very angered by the passage of Proposition 8 in California. Complete bull shit. The Mormon & Catholic Churches should lose their tax exempt status. Any other group behaving like they have would be considered hate groups and punished accordingly.

But any who, join the huge protests taking place across America to show your opposition to taking away marriage rights! After all, we have a history of extending rights, slow painful history, but a history none the less. We should not be taking rights away. Go to http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/?t=anon and see if a protest is happening near you. I'm headed to the one in Boston this Saturday, November 15, 2008.
